MRD Apartments, a company with over 50 years of success in the multifamily industry, is seeking a leader to join our team of professionals as a Director of Operations. As a member of our leadership team, the qualified candidate will be customer focused, a strong communicator, and motivated to inspire their team to grow and learn. The Director of Operations will oversee multiple regions and is accountable for the overall functions of each property within their portfolio including team member management, financial performance, marketing, and building maintenance and Improvements.
Our ideal candidate has proven experience in Property Management as a Director or Regional Operations Manager and is Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software. They will also possess exceptional organizational abilities and problem-solving capabilities.
Essential Functions:
· Manage and enhance the financial and operational performance of assigned portfolio.
· Motivate and hold teams accountable in exhibiting a positive, professional, and customer focused approach with fellow team members, residents, clients, and the public.
· Guides development of action plans to maximize opportunities and/or correct deficiencies.
· Monitor financial and employment reporting and record keeping.
· Travel frequently to inspect properties ensuring standards are maintained regarding customer service, resident retention, safety, and maintenance repairs.
· Direct marketing and outreach programs.
· Analyze market surveys and keep a constant awareness of area market and economic conditions.
· Provide expert knowledge and guidance in maintaining compliance of all federal, state, local and company policies including ADA, OSHA, and the Fair Housing Act.
