2026 Call for AANA Board Nominations & AAA Board Member Delegate 

Terrika Parker 2025 & 2026 AANA President, and the nominating committee have issued a Call for Nominations for the election of Officers and Board for AANA for terms to be served in 2026.  If you are interested in serving, please nominate yourself or a fellow colleague who you believe would be an asset to the association.   

Be sure the nominee you are suggesting is aware they are being nominated and they are willing to serve.

Those interested in serving should express their interest no later than Sunday, September 21st as nominations will be closed as of this date. Interested candidates should complete their nomination at: 2026 BOD Nomination Form and attach any required documents.

AANA continues to grow and strategically manages that growth. Many goals and objectives lie before the Board of Directors as they carry out their fiduciary responsibilities to the Association. Below are criteria, key qualities, and responsibilities of those seeking to serve on the Board:
  • Required Experience / Criteria:
    • History of involvement in Association events and/or education
    • Leadership experience, in or outside industry (i.e. civic organizations such as non-profits, schools, chambers, other associations, etc.).
    • Ability to prioritize Board and Association goals and objectives as required – (wearing AANA hat versus company hat as needed).
    • Preferred Experience as a participant on an AANA committee
  • Key Desired Qualities: 
    • Dedication and commitment, vision and leadership, stewardship, passion for the mission, punctuality, ability to communicate effectively, knowledge of industry, discretion, and integrity.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Adhering to AANA Mission Statement
  • Continued implementation of strategic initiatives
  • Keeping the best interests of the association and the members in mind.
  • Being an ambassador and advocate for the Association
  • Advancing growth by reaching out to those who desire direction and support.
  • Attend 5 Board Meetings a Year
  • Attending multiple General Membership Meetings, Events, and Education – actively volunteer and support the association at events. 
NOTE: More than two individuals from the same company cannot sit on the board at the same time. However, we encourage everyone to nominate themselves in case of a job/company change on our board. In the event there is a vacancy, we will review all nominees to select a replacement.
